18th ATP of the CLP published
The Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/692 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 3 May 2022 and will be applied from 23 November 2023.
The latest amendment to del CLP Regulation, that guarantees its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, came into force last 23 May, 2022, but it establishes a grace period for its application, scheduled for the end of 2023, so that companies have enough time to adapt to the new regulatory requirements.
Among the MAIN NOVELTIES established by the directive are:
- 1. The addition of 39 new entriesto the Annex VI of the CLP, including:
- •2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol: Repr. 1B / Acute Tox. 4 / STOT RE 2 / Skin Sens. 1B
- •Perfluoroheptanoic acid: Repr. 1B / STOT RE 1
- •Benzophenone: Carc. 1B
- •2-ethylhexanoic acid and its salts: Muta. 2 / Repr. 1B/ STOT RE 1
- •Ammonium bromide: Repr. 1B / Lact./ STOT SE 3/ STOT RE 1 / Eye Irrit. 2
- •Melamine: Carc. 2 / STOT RE 2
- •Tellurium dioxide: Repr. 1B
- 2. 17 amended entries,which include trichlorosilane, Cumene, divanadium pentaoxide or 2-butoxyethanol.
- 3. The deletion of the entrycorresponding to index number 615-007-00-X.
