ATP10 – Application of the Regulation (UE) nº2017/776 to the CLP Regulation
Since 1st December the 10th Adaptation to Technical and scientific Progress (ATP) is in force and applicable to the Regulation nº1272/2008 (CLP). This new adaptation modifies the harmonised classification of 13 substances and introduces 24 new substances into the Annex VI of the Regulation nº1272/2008 (CLP).
The text includes new harmonised acute toxicity estimate values (ATE) in Annex VI. These values determine the classification for human health acute toxicity on mixtures containing substances affected.
Since it is a European regulation is directly applicable in the member states without transposition to the national legislations.
This new CLP amendment is already implemented by SIAM; CHEMETER software classifies automatically the products in accordance to the CLP Regulation and its amendments.
Should you require further assistance on classification and labelling, do not hesitate to contact SIAM team..
What is an ATP?
ATPs, defined as an Adaptation to Technical Progress, are periodic amendments done by the European Commission and published in the Official Journal. These documents update the CLP Regulation; for example, adding or modifying information regarding the chemicals regulated by this regulation./p>
