Update of the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)

The Candidate List of substances of very high concern (SVHCs) has been upgraded to 205 substances. The ECHA (European Chemical Agency) has just included 4 new substances; due to their toxicity to reproduction, endocrine disruption and a combination of other properties of concern. Our Chemeter software has already the current information added in order to create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) up to date.

Gulf States to implement GHS in 2020

The trade bloc of the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar) expects to adopt the UN GHS (Globally Harmonized System) on classification and labelling of hazardous chemicals by mid next year.
