Published Regulation (EU) 2017/542 amending CLP regulation by adding Annex VIII on Poison centers harmonized information requirements

Finally, Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/542, which amends CLP regulation by adding Annex VIII on harmonized information relating to emergency health response and preventative measures, has been enacted in Official Journal. This regulation is due by January 1st, 2020.

This regulation represents a major improvement on the harmonization of the information related to emergency health response and preventative measures required at EU level. Nevertheless, the specific methodology to send such information to each Poison center is still to be unified.
